COURSE DIRECTOR:
Eric A. Mair, MD, Lieutenant Colonel, MC, USAF
Dr. Mair is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs,
CO. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX and
completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Wilford Hall
USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX. Dr. Mair did his pediatric otolaryngology
fellowships at Sydney, Australia and San Diego, CA. He now holds numerous positions
including: Chief, Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Uniformed
Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD; Assistant Chief, Otolaryngology-Head
and Neck Surgery, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC; Director of
Surgery, Fisher Children's Hospital, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington
DC. Dr. Mair is the author of over 40 publications in ENT journals throughout
the world. His special interests include pediatric otolaryngology and more recently
the treatment of OSA and snoring using various techniques including injection
snoreplasty.
Scott E. Brietzke, MD, Captain, MC, USA
Dr. Brietzke is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, and he
attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences,
Bethesda, MD. He is now completing his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck
Surgery at National Capitol Cosortium, Bethesda, MD/Washington, DC. Dr. Brietzke
has published 5 articles in ENT journals and presented in numerous lectures and
seminars. Dr. Brietzke's interests include the treatment of OSA and particularly
the treatment of snoring with injection snoreplasty.
Charles Weingarten, MD, FACS
Dr. Weingarten, Medical Director of SNAP Laboratories actively participates in
the clinical evaluation, sleep study interpretation and development of SNAP's
technology. Dr. Weingarten is a senior attending physician at Evanston Hospital
Head and Neck Surgery's Division of Otolaryngology and has been Assistant Clinical
Professor at Northwestern University's Medical School for over 25 years. Dr. Weingarten
received his medical degree from Tulane University and was certified by the American
Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery after completing his residency
at Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Weingarten has published various
articles regarding the diagnosis and treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
